Empty Bowls Fundraising Event 2020
Calling on all potters to help make & donate bowls for this year’s Empty Bowls Fundraising event.
This year White Peacock Studios are taking hold of the reins for the Annual Soup Fundraiser 2020 with donations going to Foodbank WA to help fight hunger in Western Australia.
Our target is to produce around 600 bowls and we are reaching out to all WA potters to help make this happen. It is a great event and your bowls will be cherished and appreciated as well as helping the cause. The objective is to:
• Raise awareness of hunger and Foodbank’s role in fighting hunger in WA.
• Increase community involvement.
• Fund raise on the day and acquire new donors.
• Your chance to make beautiful bowls that people can appreciate.
Last year $11,000 was raised and the event was attended by about 400 people who bought one or more bowls and all the money went to Foodbank WA.
Your donated bowl/s will be sold for $25 each which includes soup and bread.
Venue: Christ Church Grammer School, Claremont
Date: Sunday 14 June 2020 (Subject to outcome of Coronavirus)
